About Darren Hurrell
Darren Hurrell is a highly motivated and passionate entrepreneur based in Nottingham, UK, originally from Cambridge. His journey began in early 2000’s when he founded one of the first social networking businesses. This pioneering venture grew into a network of 1 million members, hosting events that drew crowds of over 10,000 attendees. With a strong board of directors and a talented team, Darren created one of the most advanced rewards programs in the industry, leveraging gamification to drive social engagement, precision tasks, and purchasing behaviours. This business achieved valuation of £20 million. More recently, Darren founded and built MotoLoko, an adrenaline-fueled Moto brand specialising in custom-made motocross kits and clothing. In just four years, MotoLoko has sold over 150,000 products across 50+ countries, attracts up to 5 million views a month on social media, and sponsors over 250 athletes globally. This success earned MotoLoko the title of Best Micro Business East Midlands.
